Pixi Peel and Polish 1

Gooooooood morning!!!  It’s a bright, shiny new day!  (Well, not here- it’s about 2:30am…lol!)

I love getting packages from Pixi, I’ve never tried a product that I didn’t like, especially the Skin Treats.  The formulas are well thought-out, and very effective.  So, when three of the brand’s new Peel & Polish graced my mailbox, I was super happy!

Pixi Peel and Polish

Peel & Polish is a radiance revealing enzyme peel that helps resurface for softer, smoother skin and a gorgeous glow.  Natural fruit enzymes aid in loosening dead skin cells, lactic acid exfoliates gently, cellulose peels, and sugar extracts polish to lift away dullness, revealing brighter skin (Pixi-Sjovik, 2017).

The formula is packed with impressive ingredients, such as witch hazel, panax ginseng root extract, carica papaya fruit extract, sugar cane extract, sugar maple, cucumber fruit extract, orange fruit extract, lemon fruit extract, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E (Pixi-Sjovik, 2017).  Sounds almost good enough to eat, huh?  (I wouldn’t recommend it, though…lol!)

Pixi Peel and Polish 2

Pixi Peel & Polish is housed in a convenient, sanitary squeeze tube.  It’s easy to squeeze out just the right amount.  It’s a peachy colored lotion-like formula that has very fine “grit” (sugar).  Manual exfoliants always tend to worry me since I have hypersensitive skin from using tretinoin, but I went ahead and tried this since it was fine.  Let me just say I’m glad I did!

The instructions say to apply a thin layer to cleansed skin, leave on for up to five minutes, then rinse off.  If you need extra exfoliation, you can massage it to take advantage of the sugars.  Surprisingly, despite my hypersensitive skin, I had no problems.  I even did a little massaging action, and was just fine.

Pardon the red splotches, I just finished doing some extractions…lol

The formula was easy to splash away, then I patted my face dry.  OMG, my skin was SO soft and SO smooth!  My serums and moisturizer absorbed much better, and my makeup went on much more smoothly.  And the GLOW!  Pixi is all about the glow, and they do it well.  To top it all off, it’s just $24!
