Hey all, hope you’ve had a fantasmariffic weekend!!
Have you noticed lots of pineapples all over the place? Over the past year or two, I’ve noticed them popping up seemingly everywhere. Home decor, fabrics and clothing, jewelry, even printed on office supplies- pineapples, pineapples, pineapples everywhere!
I seriously think my friend must have Ashlea started this trend- she has a huge “thing” for pineapple, particularly when it’s mixed with Malibu…lol! Jerry also loves pineapple, and often has it with his lunch since it helps his digestion. There are also pineapple enzymes in many of our skincare products.
For me, the best part of the whole pineapple craze is that it reminds me of summer time! I really, really, really don’t like winter- I’m a scrooge, and I loathe the cold. I yearn for an endless summer, flip-flops and coconut oil all year-round.
I love things that remind me of summer, so I can always think of the sunnier days ahead. If I could, I’d wear the pineapple motif on all my clothes, but that just wouldn’t be very practical…lol! Then I got the cutest thing in the mail from Alexcraft- it’s a rose gold-plated stainless steel pineapple necklace!
I really like the rose gold color, as it will go with so many things, and easily blends in with yellow gold. It’s small enough that I can wear it layered with other necklaces or alone for occasions that require a more conservative look. But, it’s large enough that it’s easily identifiable as a pineapple, so I can always think of being on a happy, sunny. tropical beach!
