In case you haven’t noticed from my (many) previous posts about blue eyeshadow, I love the stuff. Always have, always will. I also happen to think blue lipstick can be fun, too. After trying out Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Echo with Grace at Bossier City’s Sephora, I fell in love with the shade and bought it. Thanks, Grace!
So, anywho, I usually do a more subtle lip if I do a bold eye, and vice versa. But, I decided to do blue for both to see what results I would get. I kinda like it!
I started with NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Barcelona (review found here), followed by Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer in Medium Dark Warm, and set with bareMinerals Original Foundation in Tan. Since the NARS Laguna Bronzer is sometimes a bit too light to contour with in the summer, I used my Kat Von D Shade Light palette.
I used the blush from Tarte’s Rainforest After Dark palette, and highlighted with Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Veil. I used Anastasia brow powder to lightly fill in my brows.
On my eyes, I used blues from Urban Decay’s Vice 2 and Vice 3 palettes. I lined with NARS Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Via Veneto, and finished with NARS Audacious Mascara. Too add more blue, I used Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Echo.
Voila! I’m ready for the next eighties party!
