Omg, this new collection of lipsticks is GORGEOUS!
On June 24, the new Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips collection will be available exclusively from CharlotteTilbury.com for $32.00 each.
The 12 shades, inspired by the world’s 12 most mesmerizing women, celebrate the beauty, style, and power of each celebrity. (Please note that I find a disclaimer to be necessary- Charlotte Tilbury’s opinion of Kim Kardashian being one of the world’s most mesmerizing women is her opinion and hers alone, it’s not something I personally agree with…lol. Sorry, Kim!)
In addition to the nefarious Kim Kardashian, other shades were inspired by Miranda Kerr, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Kate Bosworth, Laura Bailey, Cindy Crawford, Helena Bonham-Carter, Liv Tyler, Emily Ratakjowski, Carina Lau, and Poppy Delevingne. While I have no idea who some of these people are, I’m particularly interested in shades inspired by Cindy Crawford, Helena Bonham-Carter, Liv Tyler, and Salma Hayek.

Make sure to buy these ASAP, one of my favorite things about this collection is that $2 from each lipstick sold during the first two months will go to Women for Women International. This charity works to better the lives of women worldwide who are affected by extremism and conflict.
I DO have a gripe with Charlotte Tilbury, though. When I was searching for banners on the affiliate marketing site, NONE of them had any women of color. I think it’s great that she’s giving to charity to help women around the world. BUT, it does seem a bit ironic- why aren’t there women of color featured on her website? Sure, there are a couple if you really dig deep, but there aren’t any in the “looks” tab, or actually featured. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and COLORS. Women from around the world also come in many colors, so it would be great if Charlotte would recognize this fact, and ensure that her site is reflective and diverse.
