New Brands at Credo Beauty

Aang aang!  How is your September so far?  I don’t want the summer to end- I can’t believe it’s September already!  My ancestors referred to this month as Ugnam Tugidaa, or “month when sea mammals become skinny” (APICDA, 2019).  Unfortunately, it’s never been the month that has made me skinny…lol!

One of the biggest trends in skincare is “clean skincare,” as in products that are made without “dirty” petroleums, silicones, parabens, etc.  In other words, nothing nasty or chemical-ly!  With growing interest in caring for Mother Earth and our environment, companies are now investing more time and resources into creating clean skincare formulas that actually PERFORM well.

As much money as I’ve spent at Sephora, I have to admit that while they’ve done a great thing with their “Clean at Sephora” category, they’re a bit behind the times.  Credo Beauty ONLY sells clean beauty.  All products carried on their site are formulated without ingredients on their “dirty list,” have documentation for ingredients along with proof of claims, and everything is cruelty-free.  So you can shop to your heart’s content, guilt-free, and know you’re only getting the purest, cleanest products on the market!

Another cool thing about Credo is that they’re always adding new products and brands to their inventory, offering the latest in cutting edge clean skincare technology at any given time you shop.  Three of their newest brands are UpCircle, Ao, and Vive Sana– they all look ahhh-mazing!

UpCircle does double-duty, as they’re not only a clean brand, but they’re also super-duper environmentally-friendly.  They give new life to things such as coffee grounds and brewed tea, creating awesome skincare products.  Ao was founded by a Harvard-trained dermatologist and pathologist, offering effective skincare products formulated with raw ingredients sourced from New Zealand.  Vive Sana uses the latest research in botanical science to create the safest, cleanest sun protection products on the planet.  Don’t they all just sound awesome?!?  Keep reading to find out what I’m wanting to try first!

Fennel + Cardamom Chai Soap Bar from UpCircle

I have a “thing” for soaps.  I have urticaria, and tend to get really itchy skin.  I also get really dry skin everywhere except my face, despite living in humid Louisiana.  So… I LOVE good shower products.  This UpCircle Fennel + Cardamom Chai Soap Bar is formulated with green clay to remove toxins, and shea butter to soften.  It also has chai spices, so I’m betting it smells divine!

Ao Peak Strength AM Serum Shot

Serums are one of those steps that’s worth a higher investment- they’re usually thinner so they absorb well, and they remain on the skin.  The Ao Peak Strength AM Serum Shot contains not only peptides (a fave ingredient of mine!), but also niacinamide, Vitamin C, green tea leaf extract, and grape seed extract.

Vive Sana Serum Crema

I have sensitive skin that’s also really oily.  This means I don’t want to layer on a ton of heavy products, or my face becomes a sloppy mess!  BUT… sun protection is an absolute MUST for me.  I don’t want wrinkles or cancer, so I’m RELIGIOUS with sun protection.  Well, the SPF 20 Vive Sana Serum Crema not only contains great antioxidants, but it’s light weight, so no yucky mess!

Of course, these are only three of the many, many, MANY goodies I want to try from Credo…lol.  Ready to try some out yourself?  Head over to CredoBeauty.com!
