Summer is almost here, and I couldn’t be happier! I LOVE summer time! The only thing I don’t love is greasy, sweaty skin. Ewwwww…. So, I often try to do a more natural look during the deathly hot months. I feel like my skin can “breathe” a bit better, and when my makeup’s not as heavy, there’s less for the sun to “melt” off…lol!
Thankfully, Juice Beauty has come to the rescue with some natural, organic makeup. A friend of mine actually had NO idea that the brand even made color cosmetics- I know, shocking, right…?!?! Well, a few years ago, they partnered with Gwyneth Paltrow, who became the creative director for the cosmetics, and has direct input. So, I was excited to get to try out some of these fab products and demonstrate an easy summer look for you!
Check out the video below to see how I did this, and what I used. Further product info is listed at the end of this post.
If I don’t want to fully “do” my makeup, I’ll use the STEM CELLULAR CC Cream in Warm Glow. It has SPF, so I like that I don’t have to wear a separate sunscreen, and it has just the right amount of coverage.
On days I do actually wear a bit more makeup, I start with the PHYTO PIGMENTS Illuminating Primer, then follow up with PHYTO PIGMENTS Flawless Serum Foundation in Golden Tan. Any areas of concern that are left, I “erase” with the PHYTO PIGMENTS Perfecting Concealer in Sand.
If I want a more “done” look, I’ll use PHYTO PIGMENTS Flawless Pressed Powder in Golden Tan, if I want more of a glowy look, I use the PHYTO PIGMENTS Flawless Finishing Powder, sometimes I’ll use both.
I polished the look with the PHYTO PIGMENTS Ultra Natural Mascara and PHYTO PIGMENTS Luminous Lip Crayon in Malibu, then finished with Hydrating Mist to set and give a dewy finish (read my review here).
And that’s all there is to it, easy-peasy! I can leave the house feeling polished, but I still feel confident even when I’m sweating in the hot southern sun. Check out the links below, click here, or one of the banners for more info!
