My Makeover with Dior Makeup Artist Troycie

So, a couple weeks ago, Troycie invited me for a “luxury experience.” I received far more than expected, this was like going to a spa.  This location is not like your run-of-the mill cosmetic counter, they actually hire people with esthetician schooling, experience in the industry, and who actually know what they are doing.  It was such a relaxing experience that at one point, I nearly fell asleep in the chair!

Since my appointment was scheduled for the afternoon, I had on a small amount of makeup, so Troycie started by removing it with a bit of micellar water (all products used were by Dior).

After my makeup was removed, Troycie applied a moisturizer, Capture Totale One Essential serum, to detoxify and re-energize my skin.  But, she did not just slap this stuff on my face, oh, no…  She expertly gifted me with a face and neck massage to help the serum sink in.  Now I know why people rave about lymphatic drainage massages!  My skin felt tighter, and if I had any puffiness, this would have relieved it.  I swear, even my sinuses were more clear, because I could definitely breathe better and the pressure was gone!  After the serum, she applied One Essential City Defense SPF 50 to protect my skin from UV damage.  She finished prepping with Capture Totale Dream Skin Perfect Skin Creator as a primer.

I will start off the next step with a tip used by quite a few makeup artists- do your eyes before your foundation.  This will allow you to clean up any mistakes or product fallout, as well as highlight around the eye area more easily.

Troycie combed, shaped, and filled in my brows with a brow pencil and powder.  After perfecting my brows, she used the new Fall eyeshadow palettes, Eclectic and Exuberante to add dimension to my eyelids.

While my eyes were being done, I noticed my lips were pretty dry (as always), so she actually stopped for a moment and put some Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm on my lips to soften them.  After rescuing my lips, Troycie lined my inner rims with Diorshow Kohl Stick in Pearly Turquoise, which really made my eyes pop.  For my lashes she used Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum, followed by the new Diorshow mascara formula.

For foundation and highlight, Troycie used Star Fluid Foundation in Honey Beige and Star Concealer.  She used Diorblush Cheek Stick Velvet Crème Color Blush in Cosmopolite Coral on my cheeks.  My lips, which were very soft now, were lined, then glossed with Dior Addict.

I ended up with a dramatic Fall look, and obviously, I was very happy with the outcome!

    • Hello! It is unfortunate that people feel it’s okay to steal someone else’s work. Fortunately, there are some great copyright attorneys out there. I recommend you find one that is licensed to practice in your jurisdiction. Best of luck!
