Holy cow! Yep, I got a FREE FULL SIZE Hourglass primer!
Now that that’s out of the way (more on that in just a bit), it’s Ipsy Glam Bag time– one of my favorite times of each month! If you’re not familiar with Ipsy, it’s a beauty subscription service, and for $10 a month, you get five beauty products all tucked inside a cute makeup bag. Pretty nifty, right?
This month’s bag itself was actually pretty sleek, much better than the one from last month (sorry, Ipsy). I was pretty happy with everything I received, especially the three FULL-SIZED products (not even counting the primer! But more on that in just a bit…lol 😉 ) My March Ipsy bag contained:
-City Color Photo Chic Dark Spot Corrector– A great shade for correcting dark spots, and it’s FULL SIZE. Good backup to have in case I misplace my Stila color correcting palette.
-Tarte tarteist lip paint in Delish– This is a fab shade, and I do love the Tarte lip paints. So happy to get this, and I’m going to stash it in my travel case.
-So Susan Blush & Glow– Awesome shade of blush, similar to NARS Orgasm, from a British brand I’ve heard a good bit about. FULL SIZE!
-Mint Pear Collagen Serum– The Mint Pear website has kind of a weird, hodge-podge mix of products, and this serum is pretty pricey. It will be interesting to try out!
-Skone Blending Brush– Another FULL SIZE high value item. I like my other Skone brush, so I’m excited to use this one, as well!
I’m super happy with these items, but even more excited about… drumroll please… the FULL SIZE Hourglass primer! That’s right, in addition to the five regular items, I got a FREE FULL SIZE Hourglass Light Correcting Primer in Dim Light, which retails for $44.00 at Nordstrom! How did I get this?
When you subscribe to Ipsy, you get to do mini reviews, where you answer about three quick multiple choice questions about each product, and you get points. You can redeem the points for high-value products. Unlike a lot of other similar programs, the points add up FAST. Plus, you can get even more points for referring your friends.
As for this month’s regular products, the So Susan Blush & Glow retails for $22.95, and the Skone brush retails for $18.00. So, just these two products alone are worth $40.98, not including the full size City Color corrector, the Tarte Lip Paint, and Mint Pear Serum. And oh yeah, the Hourglass primer!
So at ten bucks, with FREE shipping, I definitely hit the mother load! And guess what? This is pretty common with Ipsy, as you will ALWAYS get more than $10 worth of product. To top it all off, the shipping is always FREE. Definitely a worthwhile subscription!
If you’re interested in trying out Ipsy, you can cancel any time, so no worries! Just click here to check it out and get more info!
