So excited to play with this multi-tasking product!  I had heard good things about Manna Kadar Beauty, but have never had the opportunity to try anything out.  Thanks to Beauty Box 5, that has changed!  (See my review of February’s box here.)

Being a blogger, my skincare and makeup routine can get pretty lengthy, so any product that is a multi-tasker is always welcome.  This beautiful colored magical stuff can be used as an eyeshadow, highlighter, and blush.  Nifty!

At first, I was a bit worried it wouldn’t show up on my medium-toned skin; but my fears proved to be unfounded.  I think this will work well with most skin tones, as it’s very pigmented and buildable.  I used one layer all over my eyelids, from my lash line to brows, then another layer just on my lids.  I used the same technique on my cheeks- more on the apples, then less on my cheekbones to highlight.

This 3-in-1 pressed powder pigment is a kind of rose gold hue that has a luminosity to it.  It added a gorgeous glow to my cheeks and cheekbones, without being glittery or shimmery.  I felt like I was glowing, but more like candle light, not neon light!

The only negative, or so I thought, was the screw top lid- I prefer lids that flip open for convenience, and so they don’t get lost.  But… since this is such a versatile product, I’m sure it will make its way into my handbag, so the screw top lid is probably best.

  1. I got a Manna Kadar palette as a gift, and I love the colors. I like how subtle this highlight is. It looks less shimmery and flashy than some others I tried.

    • Hi Nissa! It really is perfect, and it’s buildable, so you can have more or less drama!
