When Make Up For Ever released new primers, I was pretty curious about them. I asked one of my go-to beauty advisors which she would recommend, and she told me she liked the hydrating one the best. Since I had recently started using tretinoin, making my skin a bit dry, I went with her suggestion and took home a travel sized tube.
The primer was easy to spread and not sticky or greasy. It was not as hydrating as I expected, but I was not bothered by that since it is merely a primer, not a moisturizer. My make-up was easy to apply, and lasted longer than it would have without a primer. It’s not my preferred primer, but it performed well. This would be great for those in need of a little hydration, but wanting something light. I will absolutely finish the tube, and may repurchase if I get a good deal. If it’s offered as a GWP, it would definitely get used!
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primers retail for $36.00 for 1 oz.
