OMG, can you believe I have NEVER owned a MAC lipstick until now…?!?! WTF…?!?!
Having attended college in my home state of Iowa, and debuting in the decathlon at Des Moines’ Drake Relays, Bruce Jenner has always been someone I admire. Add to that the fact that I have many friends in the LGBT community, I still respect Caitlyn Jenner for her courage. When I found out MAC was collaborating with her to release a lipstick for charity, I knew I just HAD to have it!
I was relieved to find out that the shade, Finally Free, was a Cremesheen as opposed to the mattes that are so popular. My lips have been craving moisture lately! Finally Free is a gorgeous nude color that champions all ages, all races, and all sexes. The best part? 100% of the selling price goes to the MAC Aids Fund Transgender Initiative. Yep, you read that right, NOT a portion of the profits, but 100% of the whole selling price goes to support transgender communities.
Finally Free will look fabulous on almost all skin tones. I love the versatility, and how it will work with subtle as well as more daring makeup looks. It’s suitable for any occasion, and will work with any outfit, hairstyle, etc. It also wears extremely well- even after I ate, I didn’t feel like it looked terrible, I could have easily gotten away without reapplying. It’s also quite moisturizing, so it’s also nice to be “finally free” of dried out lips from wearing mattes!
Whether you’re a Caitlyn Jenner fan or not, this is a beautiful color, and all sales benefit such a great cause. So, I urge you to give Finally Free a try while you still can! It’s available online only at maccosmetics.com.
