Woo hoo!!! It’s Glam Bag time again!! Is this the most wonderful time of the month? Perhaps…
If you’re familiar with Ipsy, you can skip to the next paragraph. If you’re new to Ipsy, though, here’s how it works: for just ten bucks a month, you get to try out five new beauty products, and you get a cute (usually…lol) new makeup bag every month as well. Shipping is always free, and you can cancel any time, no questions asked. You answer questions about yourself and your likes/dislikes, and you can also review your products each month. So, if you don’t like a particular brand, you won’t get any more; and if you do like it, you will. Same with shades and types of products. You get points for these mini reviews that you can redeem for even MORE free product. I’ve gotten full palettes, full-sized Hourglass primer, full-size Lime Crime liquid lipstick, etc. To top it off, they often include full-sized products in your regular bag each month- so you ALWAYS get more than $10 worth of stuff. Pretty sweet, huh?
The June Ipsy bag itself is pretty sassy and cute- it’s got red lips on it! I’m also pretty pleased with everything I received this month, too! Check it out:
–PUR Cosmetics Fully Charged Mascara– I’ve really liked the products I’ve tried from the brand, so I’m looking forward to using this.
–Beauty For Real I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner in Chocolate Fix– I rarely wear brown eyeliner, but I am almost out of the one I use most. I can’t wait to try this, especially since I’ve never heard of the brand.
–Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Recover Cream– I absolutely LOVE the probiotic skincare line from Nayelle, so it will be neat to try this out, too.
–theBalm INSTAIN Long Wearing Blush– These little sample sizes from theBalm are kind of difficult to use with a full-sized brush, but they’re always SO adorable! Plus, this color is really pretty.
–Vasanti Power Oils Lip Gloss in Super Mom– This is a full-sized lip gloss that retails for $22.00, so just this one item is worth more than double what I paid for the whole Glam Bag. The nude taupe shade is very pretty, and the formula will be a welcome change from all the super-drying mattes.
Overall, I’m very happy with this month’s items and I’ll have a great time trying them all out! If you’re interested in Ipsy for just $10 a month, click here to subscribe or for more info– you won’t be sorry!
