If you didn’t see The Weather Channel Sunday, I’ll go ahead and tell you- there were a bunch of super storms here in the south, I’m talking like category billion super storms with tornadoes all over the dang place. We got lucky and despite the giant hail, we didn’t really have any damage, just a bunch of limbs down. Others, not so lucky- so I’m glad all that’s over with, but we’re keeping all those affected in our thoughts!
As for something good, trying out new skincare products always cheers me up a bit. I love when I “discover” something organic that I’m in love with, and lately I’ve had a lot of these experiences. I think it’s going to be a fantabulous year!

The latest “discovery” is Juice Beauty’s USDA Organic Facial Wash. This cleanser is free of petroleum, parabens, sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, you name it, if it’s bad, it’s NOT here. Plus, it’s cruelty-free, so you can cleanse your face in luxury, guilt-free!
This cleanser, which is designed for all skin types, is ideal for keeping skin fresh and healthy on a daily basis. It cleanses with organic sugar cane, grape and apple fruit acids, without drying. The formula revitalizes while removing impurities with organic helichrysum and carrot. Linseed, borage, and primrose essential fatty acids, along with organic botanicals of olive, calendula, and lemon balm nourish and feed the skin (Juice Beauty, n.d.).
Juice Beauty USDA Organic Facial Wash is housed in a convenient pump bottle. It’s important to note that due to the nature of the organic ingredients, with no unnecessary additives, that you need to shake the bottle before each use.
The smell of this cleanser… omg… I just want to keep washing my face without stopping! It’s got a very clean herbal scent- it’s pretty intense, but since it’s natural, it’s not bothersome. It really wakes me up, but relaxes me at the same time, if that makes sense…lol! If you’ve tried the Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip cleanser (see my review here), it has similarities to that type of herbal scent, but the Juice Beauty will work on all skin types, whereas the SR is more for oily skin.
The only negative about this cleanser is that if you have on a lot of makeup, you’ll need to do a pre-cleanse. You can either use this cleanser itself, or you can do like I do and remove the makeup with the Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Cleansing Oil (read my review here). I don’t mind doing a two-step cleanse, though, especially considering that these products are gentle enough that they don’t irritate my hyper-sensitive skin.
I use this by itself in the mornings- since I don’t have makeup to remove, the Organic Facial Wash does a great job of getting my skin clean, with absolutely no irritation, so my skin is fresh and glowing. Oh yeah, and it’s very concentrated, so a tiny bit will suffice- I use about half a pump and that’s plenty, so it’s a great value.
If you need a gentle cleanser, that’s free from anything harmful or icky, that will leave your skin fresh and glowing without any irritation or tightness, head over to JuiceBeauty.com and check out the USDA Organic Facial Wash. Click here or on one of the banners for more info!
