It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like…Catalog Time!

Noooooooo…!!!!  The Sephora and Ulta holiday catalogs arrived yesterday!!!   Arrrrrghhhhhh….!  I am SO not ready for the holidays.

The best part about these catalogs is that they show all the new holiday releases, and better yet, all those fabulous gift sets!  Gift sets are the way to go, even if you’re making a purchase just for yourself.  They are a great value, and you get to try several products.  I often purchase sets, keep an item, then make little gift bags for others with the rest of the items.

I grew up Catholic, so we celebrated Christmas.  Making a Christmas list was SO easy- and my list was seemingly never-ending!  Now, it’s not so easy- so far I’ve told my mom I would like a Vegetti.  Mom always asks for a list every year, but I prefer to give gifts than get gifts.  Especially to the little ones, I love seeing them squeal with delight!

These catalogs will make it so much easier to come up with a list- of beauty-related items, that is.  My wish list from the Sephora catalog is:

-Kevyn Aucoin Contour Book palette;

-Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette;

-NARS Steven Klein Killer Heels Lipstick Coffret;

-Gloss Moderne Vegan Leather Boxed Collection; and

-Sephora Kanpeki Hakuho-do “Perfection” Brush Set.

From the Ulta catalog:

-NuFace Mini Facial Toning Device;

-Tarte Leave Them Blushing holiday set;

-Becca Afterglow palette (already have most of these, but it’s still pretty awesome);

-It Cosmetics for Ulta Velvet On-The-Go Brush Set;

-Gift card.

Why the gift card?  Because there is a fragrance I am interested in, and that’s a secret.  I usually don’t wear fragrances that are so widely available because people always copy me.  For example, when I bought Casmir by Chopard, everyone started wearing it.  While it’s very flattering that people liked the way I smelled, I don’t want everyone walking around smelling just like me…lol!
