I am addicted to the Velvet Luxe brushes at Ulta. Seriously.
The Soft Focus Sculpting brush has a very soft, dense head. It’s not the brush you would want to use for powder, as it is not “floppy” enough. However, the density makes this perfect for contouring, or even blush. I use it mostly for blush, but have occasionally used it for bronzer if I can’t find my flatbuki brush.
This brush really allows me to pile on the pigment, without using much product. I barely have to swipe the blush to pick up enough to use. As an added bonus, the synthetic fibers are very easy to clean!
