So, I’ve been disappointed with the past couple Ipsy Glam Bags. Don’t get me wrong, there was great stuff in them, I just didn’t get the color shades I would have preferred…lol! Although I didn’t get the bag design I wanted this month, the stuff inside was absolutely superb!!!!
My August Ipsy Glam Bag contained the following:
–Ciate Paint Pot in Dangerous Affair– This is a full size nail color that retails for $15, so this one item is worth more than the whole bag! I already have several deep red nail colors, but then again, I have over 300 at last count…lol!
–Jelly Pong Pong Sweet Treat Neopolitan Palette– Another item I’m REALLY excited about, especially considering this mini palette retails for $17.95! Plus, the colors are pretty and very versatile.

–Peter Lamas Supreme Radiance Complexion Booster– I’ve gotten a few Peter Lamas products in previous subscriptions and liked them, so it will be fun to try this out.
–It Cosmetics No-Tug Gel Eyeliner– Yet again, another product I’m excited about! I like It Cosmetics, so I’m super happy to get this since I’ve never actually tried it before.
–Beaute Basics 3 Tone Bronzer– This is another product I was really excited about when I saw the picture of it on my account. I actually opened it up immediately after I took the photo to try it out…lol! Sadly, it was terrible. I hate to say that because I don’t like to disparage any brand, and I really wanted to love this. It had almost no pigmentation and it didn’t apply easily. It reminded me of the really cheap makeup you get in a dollar beauty supply store, or in the junk section of a discount store. It even smelled cheap. I’ll have to try some other products from the brand and give them another shot. Unfortunately, this bronzer went into the trash, so disappointed!
Overall, aside from one item I was excited about but ended up not liking, my August Ipsy bag was so amazing! The two full-sized products alone are worth $32.95, plus the value of the other three products and the bag itself- so it was DEFINITELY worth the $10 I paid!
