I’m not a fan of extensions or fiber lashes, so I’m always on the lookout for a good eyelash serum. While I have yet to find anything that compares to Latisse, I was pleased to get the opportunity to try the eyelash serum from InstaNatural.
According to InstaNatural, this serum is a clinically proven formula that can give your lashes and brows a longer, more luxurious appearance in as little as 30 days. State-of-the-art SymPeptide XLash, made with Pentapeptide-17, helps promote healthy growth. Not only are spaces filled in, but the strands and follicles themselves are fortified.
The serum is housed in a tube similar to mascara. The thing I like best about the packaging is that the tube is clear, so it’s easy to see if the serum becomes contaminated, or when you’re running low. Instead of a spoolie like with mascara, there is a fine brush, which makes it a breeze to apply the serum along the lash lines.
The InstaNatural Eyelash Enhancing Serum is super easy to use. It doesn’t really have any odor, which is great since it’s applied so close to the eyes. The instructions say to use twice a day, which is different from the once daily use of Latisse. This is not a problem, though, because I just made it a part of my skincare routine, which I do twice daily also.
The only negative about the InstaNatural Eyelash Enhancing Serum is that it did cause slight itching. However, I also had itching with Latisse, so this tells me that the active ingredients may be similar, or at least have a similar effect. It wasn’t unbearable, and it didn’t last long, so no big deal.
While I didn’t notice any big results with my lashes in the allotted time period I had to review this, I did notice that I didn’t lose any of the effects I got from Latisse. Being able to retain the length and volume makes me very happy! With my brows, though, I did notice new hairs growing in, and ended up having to get the tweezers out…lol!
