Hello, hello, hello, hello all animal lovers! Especially elephant lovers!
Do you like elephants? I friggin’ LOVE elephants. Asian, African, all elephants- they’ve never failed to amaze me. I’ve been fascinated with them ever since I was a small child and my Grandma Frerichs took me to the zoo and I got to ride on one of these giant majestic creatures. I was immediately hooked and in love!
Another thing I love? Comfortable clothes. I’m not exactly a fashionista- I exercise a lot, and I live in the south, where it’s HOT. So, I dress mainly for comfort, and I get excited when I find something that’s both comfy and cute. Needless to say, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to collab with Happy Trunks, makers of harem pants with a purpose.

The Elephant Nature Park, a rescue sanctuary, ensures that all elephants remain in their natural habitat. No painting, riding, or chaining is allowed, so the elephants remain happy and free. Donations from your purchase go directly towards keeping elephants in a compassionate community with medical care, proper food, and land to roam free 24 hours a day (Happy Trunks, 2017).

I got the Black Peacock harem pants, which are 100% rayon, so they’re super light-weight, and extremely comfortable. I swear, it’s like wearing pajamas, but only they’re look a bit more refined. I can dress them up with heels, or down with flip-flops or sneakers. (Sorry for the weird angle in the pics that make me look disproportionate- there wasn’t anyone else around to do it…lol!)
