Happy Halloween!
I love doing my nails for holidays; and Halloween is my favorite holiday! I stole the cat head idea from Julep’s Facebook page- thank you, Julep! The fangs were all my own- I usually don’t do an “accent nail” because those really annoy me. Not in a bad way, they are really cute, but annoying in that there isn’t really any purpose. If they had a meaning, such as one nail being different means the person is a virgin, or has completed a daring task like eating crickets, I could totally understand the existence of said accent nail. But, since there is no real purpose, well, you get the picture… 😉
First, I used Deborah Lippmann Rehydrating Base Coat. I used a Sephora by OPI Nail Design Pen to draw the fangs, then Julep nail color in Leslie (black with shimmer) to paint cat heads on the tips of my nails. Then, I used a very fine nail brush to outline the teeth. I dotted the eyes onto the cat heads, and let dry for about 10 minutes. (Hint: use a quick-dry color, such as Julep.) Finally, I used Nails Inc. Caviar Top Coat.
