I received this mascara as a free sample with an order, and almost forgot about it. I’m glad I remembered, because it’s actually a very nice formula! Guerlain promises outrageous volume and curl, and I was not disappointed. There are formulas that do more volumizing, but this provided a wearable look without being garish.
The brush was made of the same type of material as Benefit’s They’re Real!, but it was longer and tapered. I didn’t notice any clumping, and it was a wet enough formula that I had time to work with it before it dried. I also didn’t encounter any flaking. Although it’s not a waterproof formula, it wore very well, and stayed put until I took it off.
The only drawback is the trademark violet fragrance that is well, so Guerlain. I love the scent (maybe that’s why I like Diorshow), but for those who are sensitive, it may be a problem.

Hi Skyler! It does have the typical Guerlain scent, but just barely. Although I love the scent, I’m glad it’s light since it’s an eye product, otherwise my eyes would water…lol!
