I was SO excited to get my hands on this! Like with all GlamGlow products, Gravity Mud is pretty pricey, so I got a sample first from Sephora. (Thank you Hylisha and Ashley!)
According to GlamGlow, Gravity Mud is an instant tightening and firming peel off treatment mask. “Mega-targeted ingredients” help the skin’s contours look more defined and feel firmer. The best part? It is SILVER colored! With my love of sci-fi and robots, this REALLY pleases me and makes me very happy. It also smells divine!
To use, just wash your face, then apply the mask with a brush (if you buy the full size, there is a brush included). Wait 20-30 minutes for the color to change to a shiny chrome, peel off, then rinse your skin. Very easy, and FUN to use. Plus, if you’re one of the many people who find peel-off masks gratifying, this will not disappoint!
So, what did disappoint? The results. My skin did feel soft and smooth, as with most masks. But, it didn’t feel or appear to be more firm or lifted. To be fair, I am meticulous with my skincare, so I don’t really have any issues that would require firming or lifting at this point. I have a feeling Jerry may actually be willing to try this since it’s chrome colored, and he, like me, loves robots and sci-fi. So, I’ll update if his results are better.
Is Gravity Mud worth trying? YES. I’ve heard of people having awesome results, so don’t let my lack of results scare you. Would I purchase the full size? Nope. BUT, tonight’s Powerball jackpot is estimated to be $1.5 billion, and I actually bought a ticket. If I win that jackpot, I will buy hundreds of these and cover my whole self so I can look futuristic. 😉
