Well, after all the hits and positive feedback we got on the last FOTD post (find it here), we decided to do another one. I actually did this about a week ago, but couldn’t locate the photos- so…. I’m a little late…lol!
Anywho, I decided to do kind of a “warm” look since the weather’s getting colder (much to my dismay). I started by prepping my skin with Pixi Glow Tonic, StriVectin Dual Hyaluronic Serum, and Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. After moisturizing, I used the new REN Perfect Canvas Silicone Free Skin Finishing Serum as a primer.
For foundation, I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Light Wonder in Medium 7, then concealed with Juice Beauty Perfecting Concealer in Sand, set with Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder. Instead of heavy contour, I opted to use a bit of bronzer from the Pixi x Maryam Maquillage Glow & Bronze Palette. I finished my cheeks off with NARS Orgasm blush and Fenty Beauty Killwatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife.
For Eyes, I used Makeup Geek Bleached Blonde from lash line to brow, Americano in the creases and corners, and blended out with Anarchy; and added a bit of Crown Pro Lavish to my lids. I did a wing with Prestige Cosmetics Vinyl Liner and outlined the wing with the brand’s gold metallic liquid liner. I filled in my brows with The Brow Gal brow palette, and used tarteist lash paint mascara on my lashes.
For lips, I prepped with Pixi Beauty Lip Polish, lined with Huda lip liner in Vixen, and finished with Bite Beauty Matte Cream Lip Crayon in Cognac.
I must admit that despite my disdain for cooler weather, the metallic gold liner and gold sparkly highlighter, combined with the brown lip color, really kind of elevated my mood a bit. I’ll probably play around with similar colors a bit more, and maybe winter will suck just a little bit less.
