I paid a visit to my friend, Firshelia, at the Estee Lauder counter. She’s a fantastic makeup artist, and really knows her stuff, so I trust what she recommends- and she was spot-on with this. I got my sister the full size of the Intensity 1.0, and I got a GWP size of the Intensity 3.0. My sister is absolutely in love with this, a little goes a long way, and it lasts all day.
I didn’t need any BB cream yet, but I went ahead and tried it in order to do this review, and will save the rest for use in a couple months. The 3.0 was too light for my skin right now, but should work quite well in the winter. I also found that I looked a bit shiny after a couple hours- but, I tested this without a primer. I have also recently started using tretinoin, so products that don’t normally do this, do it to me now. Again, though, when winter rolls around, it will work beautifully. It was easy to spread, and I agree with my sister, a little goes a long way. It did not clog my pores, and I did not break out. I really did get a nice glow without looking shimmery or garish, and it had the added bonus of SPF 30. If your complexion needs an extra pick-me-up, and you want a long-lasting BB that will not settle into wrinkles or pores, give this a shot!
Estee Lauder Double-Wear All Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup SPF 30 retails for $38.00 for 1 oz.
