It’s easy to see why so many reviewers are switching to it from LaMer. Although I’ve never tried LaMer, I’ve heard it’s got kind of a petroleum-like texture, and is quite heavy. Anywho, I posted about it on Instagram, but since it’s still available, and the Women for Women International campaign is still up, I just HAD to do a blog post to tell you guys all about it!
Women for Women International is an organization that helps women in conflict-affected countries. They help marginalized women obtain access to the life-changing skills needed to overcome economic restrictions and social exclusion. Through the sales of this limited edition Marine Cream, Elemis will donate $46,000 to Women for Women International.
Even the packaging is special- it was designed by British accessories designer, Karen Mabon. She got her inspiration for the design from the cream’s star ingredient, Padina Pavonica, a Mediterranean algae with stellar anti-aging properties. The box is re-usable, which I love, because it’s SO gorgeous, and will always serve as an inspiring reminder that there is still good in this world.
