Hope you’re all having a fab December so far- it’s been kind of a whirlwind season for me so far. Much to the likely dismay of our affiliates and brands we work with, blogging has taken a back burner to the rest of life. Lots of (good) family stuff going on right now- and despite being Q4, the blog will just have to wait. Family first!
There are still some great things I’d like to share, and one of those is the Elemis Fabulous Frangipani Collection. Despite being an Alaska Native and BC Native, if you’ve kept up with us, you know my fave season is summer, and I absolutely looooovvve all things coconut oil- especially monoi. All the products have the most heavenly scent- very natural, and it evokes memories of summer, yet is still appropriate for the winter, especially with such quality products. Despite being full size, if you buy the set, the price is a superb value.
I’ve stashed the Hand & Nail Cream in my bag, so I can use it any time I feel like my hands are getting dry. It’s rich enough to feel luxurious, but still sinks into my skin easily. With it being cold and flu season, I wash my hands even more than I usually do, so this has been fantastic.
The Frangipani Monoi Shower Cream is awesome in the bath or shower. I use it with a poof sponge, and it lathers up nicely without having to use a ton of product. It cleans effectively, without stripping moisture. With the winter months here, this is super nice.
The exfoliating Frangipani Monoi Body Polish is perfect for addressing dry, flaky, winter skin. We don’t have central heat, so we use space heaters, which can be very drying. This in turn makes my skin itch like crazy! So, I love that this lux scrub helps get rid of dead skin cells, leaving my skin primed and ready to soak up the body oil.
And… the Frangipani Monoi Body Oil is one of the most lux monoi oils I’ve used. It’s truly unfractionated coconut oil, as it solidifies just below room temperature. It’s in a glass bottle, so it’s easy to just run under some warm water to transform it into liquid form, but I keep in in the bathroom with me while taking a steamy shower, and the heat ensure it’s ready to use as soon as I step out.
My skin feels so soft and smooth when I’m done showering, and the gorgeous scent has made for a spa at home experience. Bonus points to Elemis for including the candle- if you’ve had a long, rough day, light it up while you’re taking a bath, and use the other products for a truly relaxing experience.
