Hey all!  How’s your January so far?  Hope you’re all staying warm and safe in all this dreadful cold!

It’s been a while since we’ve done an empties post, as it’s not often I actually empty a product.  But, we actually have several from the past month, since I’ve found some I liked enough to completely use up!  While they’re all fantastic, there were three that have made HG status in my routine, so I’ll save those for last!

December empties

First off is Juice Beauty’s STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Overnight Creamicon, which I actually ran out of towards the end of November.  I’ve been happy with about everything I’ve tried from the brand.  If you like high-quality natural skincare that’s actually effective, then you’ll love Juice Beauty. I like that this cream isn’t heavy and greasy, it’s light and fresh, yet very hydrating at the same time.  My skin feels soft, and has a nice glow in the mornings after using this.

HydroPeptide’s LUMAPRO-C Skin Brightening Pigment Corrector is a great serum as it contains a stable form of Vitamin C.  I noticed a slight difference in pigmentation, but I’m outside every day, and I’ve only used one bottle.  If I were to continue using this, I’d likely see even more of a difference.  See our full review here.

I have two empties from Exuviance, one of my go-to brands for scientifically-proven ingredients.  The first is the Sheer Daily Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 50.  This is a very liquid-y formula, that goes on very easily with absolutely NO greasiness.  So light weight that doesn’t feel like I’m even wearing sunscreen.  Plus, it contains antioxidants and green tea extract in addition to sun protection.  Our full review is here.

The Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Masques are awesome.  I have severe allergies and chronic sinusitis, so I’m constantly dealing with puffy, irritated eyes.  This sort of irritation can really exacerbate inflammation, which leads to wrinkles.  I stash these in the fridge, and use when needed.  They do a great job of de-puffing and helping plump fine lines.  Check out our review here.

Alrighty, now we’ve got THREE empties from Elemis!  The first is the brand’s Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks, which are actually made in Korea, and NO ONE does sheet masks like Korean companies.  So, I love that Elemis has used only the best.  These may very well end up being HG, just depends on my long term results.  But the Hydra-Gel does a great job of forming to my skin and staying in place.  And my fine lines end up plumped, and my eye area brighter and soothed.  On our last trip to Iowa, I even splurged and used a set EVERY DAY…lol!  Check out our full review here.

Now for the HG empties!!  The Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is something I NEVER want to be without.  It takes off everything from sunscreen and foundation to waterproof eyeliner and mascara.  It’s the perfect first cleanse, and leaves my skin feeling soft without stripping moisture.  I should let you know, though, that I went through this jar a lot faster than most people.  As a blogger, I often do multiple makeup changes in a day, so I use it two to three times faster than a normal person.  See my full review here.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is another must-have.  It’s easy to see why so many people have switched to this from La Mer.  I have combo/oily skin, and it sinks right in, without any greasiness.  Jerry even started using it on his dry skin, and has had equally awesome results.  I’ve used it on my face, neck, decollete for day time, and have also been using it as a night cream.  My skin really feels smooth and fresh, and hydrated, despite the cold weather.  My full review is here.

My last empty is the Omorovicza Copper Peel, which is another HG.  This is a two step peel that’s seriously like a science experiment on your face.  It’s really fun to use, and very gentle, but delivers high-powered results.  I do 70% glycolic peels every now and then, and those take a week or so to “recover” from.  The copper peel gets me by so I can go longer periods in between.  And did I mention it’s fun to do…?!?  See our review here.

So, those are my empties from the end of 2017.  I’m pretty excited to have found SO many great products, which is why I didn’t have very many that I completely used up…lol!   But, finding so much awesome stuff is a good thing, right…?!?!
