I keep seeing a photo of my friend, Kasey N., pop up on social media. I think she’s wearing Kat Von D’s Vampira, and she always looks SO fabulous! I’m still not ready for fall, so I decided that using Kasey as inspiration (again!) might help me accept the chillier weather. Thank you mucho, Kasey! 🙂
Well, I left my Vampira in my car, and it’s been horrible weather, so I was too lazy to go out and get it. Instead, I opted for Urban Decay’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in Matte Blackmail. Jerry picked out this shade for me, and I’ve only worn it once before (see my review here). Since it’s so dark, it tends to make my medium-toned skin look pale, and it has to be applied in a precise manner. Nevertheless, I’m going to keep practicing so I can wear it more often.
I always use Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask prior to applying matte lipstick. This time, though, I forgot to wipe off the lip mask, so the lipstick didn’t apply as smoothly. I also used Too Faced Perfect Spice lip liner- I wouldn’t dare wear such a dark, bold lipstick without lining first!
