Although this is not a new product, highlighters don’t appear to be going anywhere any time soon, so I decided to go ahead and review it anyway for those who may not have used it or heard of it.
I got this from Brendan at the Bossier City Sephora Inside JCP, and I’m glad I did! It comes in a unique container, that you twist and product pushes through, so it’s quite fun to use- almost like a glue stick from grade school.
Unfortunately, on my medium-tan skin, I could not get a decent photo where it showed up. But, it does show up, and it works beautifully as a highlighter. This is great for your cheekbones, brow bone, etc. I even use it in the center of my bottom lip for a pouty look. The consistency is not too thick, not too thing, and I didn’t find it to be really sticky or anything. This provides just the right amount of pearly glow, without the gaudy shimmer, so it’s great for day time.
P.S. This is a great dupe for Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sunkissed Illuminator, which retails for $48.00. You’re welcome 😉
Benefit Girl Meets Pearl highlighter retails for $30.00 for 0.40 oz.
