Being an artist makes applying makeup so much more fun. For as long as I can remember, I have always been “into” art. I attended my first round (of many!) of college with several scholarships, including one for art, at Iowa State University’s College of Design. While I moved on to other things, I have always remained an artist, and this website allows for me to have a great creative outlet.
With my love for art, I am so VERY excited for a friend of mine, Ginger Hughes, who has started a new business! Ginger has a Masters Degree in Art, and is bringing the joys of painting to the general public through “Art A’ La Carte.” She provides the supplies, and for one low price, you get to paint your very own masterpiece under her expert guidance, and take it home with you!
While we have visitors to this site from over 80 countries, please keep Art A’ La Carte in mind if you find yourself in the central Louisiana area. Although she is currently scouting out a permanent home for her business, for the time being, Ginger offers in-home experiences as well as classes at various locations.
As soon as time permits (hopefully very soon), I really want to participate in one of her classes- which are great for everyone, from those with no experience to expert level “artistes.” Even though I already know how to paint, I think it would be so much fun to do so in a relaxed, fun atmosphere where I can interact with others. And drink wine! 😉
