Philosophy Time in a Bottle– This is purported to be an age-defying serum, but in the short time I used it, I didn’t notice any changes in my fine lines.  That’s to be expected, though, as these things do take time to work.  The main reason I got this was because of the retinyl palmitate, and I wanted to acclimate my skin to retinoids prior to starting Retin-A.  I did end up finishing the bottle, though, because it was a great multi-tasker, it’s lightweight, and hydrating enough for my oily skin that I didn’t need a separate moisturizer.  It also doubled as a primer on days when I didn’t want to do heavy makeup.  You can get it from Nordstrom, where shipping is always free, with no minimum.

Urban Decay Naked Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup– I love this foundation, almost as much as the NARS I’ve been using.  It contains Matrixyl peptides, so it has an anti-aging effect.  If you’ve had your eye on the Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup, which also has Matrixyl peptides, this is about $20 cheaper!  It’s available from Nordstrom– shipping is always free with no minimum!
