Happy Friday night! Hope everyone’s ready for a great weekend! I know I am, especially because I got my Ipsy Glam Bag!
Although a couple items were duplicates from other subs, the September 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag actually had some pretty great stuff in it. Also, I’m lamenting the end of summer, so the vinyl bag, which smells like swimming pool inflatables (which I LOVE), fits right in with the whole “endless summer” theme we’ve been blogging about!
My Ipsy bag contained:
–Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask– This is probably the fourth or fifth one of these I’ve gotten through subscription boxes. That would be great, IF it actually worked for me. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to do anything for my hair, just leaves it dry, so I’ll pass this on to a friend who DOES like it (as many people swear by it).
–Ulta3 Nail Colour in Sizzling Red– I haven’t had much luck with the Ulta3 products I’ve tried, so I’m looking forward to finding out if my opinion will change with this. Plus, it’s a great color, and it’s full size!
Don’t forget to click the red button below to subscribe to our new YouTube channel! Thank you!
–Make Skin Illuminator in Llos– Not a fan of Make, the products I’ve tried haven’t really lived up to the price, but I always look forward to highlighters, so hopefully I’ll change my mind about the brand!
–Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara– One of my fave mascaras! I love this almost as much as Too Faced Better Than Sex. So, even though this is another dupe from other subscriptions, I’m excited to get this and stash it in my travel bag!
– Pixi Beauty Lipstick in Rose Naturelle– Oddly enough, I’ve never tried a Pixi lipstick! The color looks gorgeous, so I can’t wait to try this on!
Now, if you’ve been wondering about the title of this post… Once again, Ipsy did great with the bag design (they can tend to be hit or miss…lol)- it’s black, white and gold-tone with a cute graphic. Although the figures DO look like they’re wearing lamp shades on their heads, I still really like it! For some reason, I have the urge to go listen to Devo…
