Happy Independence Day!!!!
Well, at the last minute, we decided to get out of the house for the Fourth. I’ve been sick with a horrific sinus infection, and didn’t know if I’d be feeling up to it. But, I’ve started to feel a bit better, and “cabin fever” has begun, so we’ll be doing something fun. Maybe even heading to the casino for the exotic animal races. Who doesn’t want to watch racing ostriches…?!?!?
Since it was a last-minute thing, I didn’t have much time to do my nails, so I just went with simple. I did my tips in red and blue, and painted stripes on my left hand middle finger, and my right hand pointy finger. I was lazy and didn’t get out my striping brush, so it’s not the most precise…lol! But, I used a mini bottle of red, so the smaller brush made that color a bit easier.
I started with a Deborah Lippmann base coat, then alternated fingers using Nails Inc. Baker Street (blue) and a Sephora by OPI red. I used the same red for stripes, along with an Essie white. I somehow misplaced the white in the process, so I didn’t include a photo, sorry Essie 🙁
After painting the tips and stripes, I used Deborah Lippmann Bring on the Bling with real diamond dust. I finished with Nails Inc. Caviar Top Coat. Voila!
